I was raised in the US State of Maryland, near Washington, DC. I have worked as a photo editor, English teacher in Japan, library circulation assistant, and government employee. I have also studied in Germany. I enjoy travel, hiking.language, and the Internet. Mi kreskiĝis en la Substato Marialando, Usono, apud Vaŝingtono, DK. Mi laboris kiel fotoredaktisto, angla instruisto en Japanio, biblioteka teknisto, kaj registara laboranto. Mi ankaŭ iam studis en Germanio. Mi ŝatas vojaĝi, marŝadi, lingvojn, kaj la interreto. Ich bin im Bundestaat Maryland bei Washington, DC erzogen. Ich habe als Fotoredakteur, Englisch Lehrer in Japan, Ausleih-Arbeiter im Bibliothek, und wie Beamter gearbeitet. Ich habe auch in Deutschland studiert. Ich reise und wandere gern, und interessiere mich an Sprachen und das Internet. Je viens de l'état de Maryland proxime à Washington, DC. J'ai travaillé comme redacteur de photos, prof d'anglais au Japon, assistant dans une bibliothèque, et dans la service civile. J'ai étudié en Allemagne aussi. J'aime bien voyager et faire des promenades, et j'ai une interesse dans les langues et l'Internet aussi.

Bonjour! Ma page d’Internet www.daviddougherty.net est revenue!  C’est nouvelle, meilleure, et totalement rénové. Mon autre page de plus tôt était trop vieille (je n’avais rien fait avec cette page depuis de 2003), et je l’avais fait avec HTML dans la vieille manière. Maintenant j’utilise WordPress, une systeme merveilleuse de management de content, et mon espace sur l’Internet est avec une nouvelle service, Hostmonster. C’est plus bon-marché que Yahoo, et avec moins de limites dans les options.

Je vous invite regarder mes pages. L’année dernière j’ai voyagé beaucoup, et bientôt je vais ecrire de mes voyages. Si vous voulez me connaître mieux, je vous invite regarder mes pages de mes interesses diverses. Je sais qu’il y a beaucoup d’information là, regardez seulement à les parties que sont interessantes à vous! J’aime bien montrer mes photos de mes voyages et activités, et j’espère que mon blog peut devenir une place specielle por moi réfléchir et discouter les issues diverses!

Saluton!  Mia ttt-ejo www.daviddougherty.net reaperis!  Ĝi estas nova, plibonigita, kaj entute refarita.  Mia antaŭa ttt-ejo estis ne ĝisdatigita post eble la jaro 2003, kaj estis kreita kun HTML en la nun eksmoda maniero.  Nun mi uzas WordPress-on, kiu estas bonega enhavo-mastrumado sistemo, kaj mi nun havas novan retejan servicon, Hostmonster
kiu estas malpli multekosta ol Yahoo, kaj kun malpli da limoj en ĝiaj opcioj.

Mi kore invitas vin trarigardi mian novan retejon!  En la lasta jaro mi vojaĝis multe, kaj baldaŭ mi aldonos blogskribaĵojn pri miaj vojaĝoj.  Se vi volas ekkoni min pli bone, mi invitas vin legi miajn paĝojn pri miaj diversaj interesoj.  Mi scias ke estas multe por legi, nur rigardu la partojn kiuj interesas vin!  Mi kunplezure montras fotojn pri miaj vojaĝoj kaj agadoj, kaj mi esperas ke mia blogo povas iĝi bonega loko por mi montri miajn pensojn kaj diskuti diversajn aferojn!

Welcome to my Brand-New Website!

Hi there!  My website www.daviddougherty.net is back!  It is new, improved, and totally revamped.  My previous website was way out-of-date (I had not added any content since maybe 2003), and was hand-coded in HTML the old-fashioned way.  Now I’m on WordPress, which is a fantastic content management system, and I have a new hosting provider, Hostmonster, which is both cheaper than Yahoo, and far less limiting in its options.

I invite you to take a look around!  In the past year I have done a lot of traveling, and soon I will add some blog posts about my trips.  If you want to get to know me better, I invite you to check out my pages about my various interests.  I know that it is a lot to wade through, just look at the parts that interest you!  I enjoy sharing photos of my travels and activities, and I hope my blog can become a great place for me to reflect and discuss various issues!
